I'm still lurking too! Only have TWO Bedfords now, but Plans are afoot to amalgamate them into one! No, not an 8 wheel stretch Beddy (although that would be rather cool ) but a CF1 with CF2 front cross member and a few other bits and bobs including a FI Manta GTE engine and the 5 speed ZF box out of the CF2.

Will be stripping the CF2 down this weekend - oh and if anyone needs any CF2 bits let me know or she will be off to the scrappy when I'm finished :-(

I could be interested in less rusty bits that can be interchanged for the very rusty bits on my CF1.

pretty much if it can fit on a cf1 and aint too rusty i probably need it!

I'm knocking about again. Initially joined a few years ago when I started my V8 conversion but moved house, the beast was put into storage and foergot about for a while. I have just moved house again into a place with enough land to bring her home and get her finished. Will hopefully be at home witin the next few weeks and progress will resume and posts/updates will become more frequent.

And I'm still here, bought another CF2, a 1987 Dormobile conversion with poptop.
Was a special order at the time as Martin Water were not doing many campers by then, mostly buses and the like.
Was going to use the old girl for spares for my Auto sleeper Clubman, but I think she is too good to scrap, she drives quite well, just needs a bit of new metal welded in to the holes in the outer panels, and an upgrade internally, so will be my next project!

Prices?

Has anyone been following the price curve on the Auto sleeper Clubman on ebay?
Finally ended today at £5,800 !!!!!!! I know it was low mileage and original, but that means my soon to be totally rebuilt and refurbished Clubman must be worth 10K !!!! Ha, ha. Look out VW, here comes the Bedford CF !!!

Lets hope they get the money from the bidder.

Strood?

Oh dear Colin, do you mean Strood in the Medway Towns? I think you and your workmates need to stay indoors, the women in Strood are notorious man hunters, totally insatiable appetite for fresh meat! Don't go out alone, is the advice I can give you.

We're staying at 'Medway Valley Leisure Park' although having stayed there before it's not much of a Leisure Park. There's a bingo place, Mcdonalds, the Premier Inn, some other food place and 'Diggerland' which always seems to be shut. The women of Strood sound interesting but I think we'll all be too tired after a hard day at work

Oh and don't go to the Riverside Tavern in Canal Road, Strood, it's a gay pub, both male and female, unless of course you feel the need!
