I've been in a similar situation. Me, the wife and a couple of friends went out on a Friday evening for a quiet drink. We ended up in Barry Island in a pub. After we ordered our drinks and sat down we started to notice the way men seemed to be in groups at some of the tables, women at others. Yup, it was a gay bar. Come to think of it while working in Shoreham we ended up in one in Brighton too. Then again it's hard NOT to be in a gay bar in Brighton

regarding title of thread, some have gone to other forums,i.e Auld vans and motor vehicles,Scottish based but really all welcome,a bit different to here but worth a visit,bedfordcf.org again another forum,no one has to be tied to just one forum, there all to be enjoyed, visited etc, other past members may now have given up vehicles through age etc, thats vehicle or themselves lol,the more members from each forum get involved in the other forums the more a wealth of knowledge and socialising can grow, not everyones cup of tea admittedly, and past differences would dictate that.We all have to move on instead of festering away through hearsay and unfounded allegations,so lets all just get along and enjoy what we have and can achieve by letting bygones be bygones.

Having received a pm from , bluebedouin, secretary of the site, asking for an explanation for my post, regarding the use of "festering" this was not meant to offend anyone but for those involved when things went a bit wrong,I just thought we could move on, and perhaps try and rebuild what was lost obviously not the case with this man in charge,do I apologise to all Perhaps I should,Colin could contact me as I thought we could get along, or is there no resolve, my intentions obviously again mid understood, not too worry no loss to me.---

Hi Alex, I'm a bit puzzled over your comment:"We all have to move on instead of festering away through hearsay and unfounded allegations" Do you mean that in a personal sense as applying to you or to someone else? I wasn't party to everything that went on at the time & am still unaware of them all but, I don't believe anyone here is "festering away"! I think the club,as a whole, has in fact already moved on.People come & go in all walks of life & everyone adapts to the circumstances. Would you like to expand a bit on it?It does look rather odd without a qualifying statement. Best wishes,Graham.
